My Background and Training

I hold a federal title as an FSP-certified psychologist and psychotherapist, with training in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy and existential therapy. My background includes over 15 years of clinical experience in psychiatric hospitals, outpatient psychotherapy centers, and close collaboration with doctors and psychiatrists.

My practice integrates techniques from career counseling and clinical psychology, gained from various institutions in French-speaking Switzerland. I place particular emphasis on stimulation and creativity in my psychotherapies, to support you in your life projects, whether they are global (life purpose, uncertainties) or specific (professional, couple, or family projects).

AREAS OF EXPERTISE

My Approach

Existential Therapy

Existential therapy explores the fundamental questions of our existence: the meaning of life, solitude, uncertainty, and death. These reflections become particularly important during life transitions such as career changes, breakups, or the loss of a loved one. Popularized by Irvin Yalom, this approach encourages us to take control of our destiny: “Not taking control of the course of your life is to reduce existence to a mere accident.” We also examine the fragility of life, as described by Haruki Murakami: “In a hundred years, none of these people – including me – will be on this earth. We will all have turned to ash or dust… Why do I go to all this trouble? Why struggle so desperately to survive?”

Supervision and Personal Development

Supervision and personal development are designed for health professionals seeking to deepen their knowledge, explore new therapeutic tools, or reflect on their practice. With my experience as a teaching assistant, internship supervisor, and supervisor, I tailor each session to your specific needs. Together, we determine the kind of practitioner you want to become, how to integrate various therapeutic models, and how to balance your mental, physical, and professional well-being. I also encourage creativity in your work and personal life. These sessions are recognized by the Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Cognitive and Behavioral Psychotherapy as well as the Department of Psychiatry at CHUV.

Medical and Therapeutic Hypnosis

Hypnosis enriches your psychotherapy by accessing deep inner resources. Certified by the Swiss Society of Hypnosis (SHYPS), I continue to enhance my skills through ongoing training at the Institut Romand d’Hypnose Suisse (IRHyS) and through regular exchanges with colleagues in Switzerland and abroad. This approach ensures a stable and evolving practice of hypnosis. As an artist, musician, and songwriter, I integrate creativity into my sessions. Hypnosis nurtures this creativity by weaving new connections between elements of your experience. This structured process, including induction, trance work, and trance exit, employs creative techniques to overcome challenges.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

EMDR is a recognized method for treating psychological trauma by using eye movements to stimulate the brain and reprocess painful memories. This approach is particularly effective for those suffering from post-traumatic stress, phobias, or issues related to traumatic experiences. EMDR helps desensitize these memories and reduce their emotional impact, leading to lasting relief and improved resilience.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

EMDR is a recognized method for treating psychological trauma by using eye movements to stimulate the brain and reprocess painful memories. This approach is particularly effective for those suffering from post-traumatic stress, phobias, or issues related to traumatic experiences. EMDR helps desensitize these memories and reduce their emotional impact, leading to lasting relief and improved resilience.
